I was born in a country that knew my life before I lived it. They had a plan for me. Good men follow the plan. I could not follow it.
I do not say this with pride. It would have been easier to obey. I tried. I failed at obeying the way other men fail at rebellion.
Something in me was always loud. It wanted out. I did not drink it away or pray it away. I put it into objects. A ring is a small thing, but it is honest. It does not pretend. It sits on your hand and says: this is what I am. I loved that. I started collecting these small honest things as a child, like a man saving coins for an escape he could not name.
At seventeen I began to make them myself. Metal does not care about society. It does not care what your father expects or what the neighbors say. It only asks: do you know what you want? For years I worked, and I learned that my disorder was not a wound. It was material. You can build with it, if you are stubborn.
The stubbornness brought me to Paris. There I built a house and gave it the only name it could have: Creativity & Chaos. Order is the hand. Chaos is the fire.
Today the house works like this: I design every piece in Paris. They are cut in 316L steel by partners I have chosen and tested. I check every piece and seal every box myself before it leaves Paris.
These pieces are for the ones who were handed a life and said no. You know who you are. You have always known.
